Next Pathway CEO Talks to Digital Journal on how Snowflake became a Cloud Computing Powerhouse

“The necessity for businesses to move to a more agile, cost-effective platform that allows better, faster access to critical data is fueling the movement to Snowflake, “ he said.

 

Having recognized Snowflake’s potential and partnering with them as early as October 2019, he detailed how Next Pathway worked closely with Snowflake to optimize the process by which enterprise clients could achieve smooth, end-to-end migration to the cloud. 

 

"In 2019 we were early partners of Snowflake, and we were involved in many proof-of-concepts (POC), whereby enterprise companies willingly offered us samples of their legacy code to see if/how we could translate the code to SnowSQL, Snowflake’s native language. Following these POCs and with the onset of the pandemic, over the past 8 months many of these companies are coming to us to migrate these data warehouses in their entirety to Snowflake," said Mathur.

 

Next Pathway’s strong partnership with Snowflake continues to be the backbone of many major enterprise migrations to the cloud, allowing customers to take their large and complex legacy systems and move to Snowflake immediately. After a year of working closely with Snowflake to move enterprises to the cloud as a strategic partner, Mathur is confident that Snowflake will double in revenue over the next 6 months and see on-going success as a cloud leader.
