In addition, this survey found that as an effect of the coronavirus pandemic 40% of businesses are accelerating their current cloud migration plans. 75% of respondents identified concern over a second wave, along with 51% planning to move additional applications to a cloud-based environment in preparation. 40% of respondents identified the expectation of their respective companies soon being fully based in the cloud environment. This shows that the importance of guidance from cloud migration experts has never been more crucial for companies looking to begin, adapt, or accelerate their efforts in migrating both data and applications to cloud-based solutions.
